At the show, LSEAT will launch a test porposal running 6 months to airlines. No investment is required. From the first day of installation, the airline can apply the mark up to passengers on LSEAT equipped seats. That mark up will be shared with LSEAT. At the end of the 6 months test, the airline can quit the deal whitout pernalty, extend it with a rental or buy the kits.
This solution enables the airline to test LSEAT, earning money on it from the first day on, take not any risk, and continue or leave LSEAT.

LSEAT « relax reading » and « sleep » latest update mode was launched in March 2024.
Economy class passengers are seated on “chairs” for more than a century. Backrest recline of 12 degrees and a video screen have been the only innovations.
On Premium Economy and Business Class increasing pitch and seat size appeared at fare prices that 83 % of world Economy passengers don’t want or cannot pay.
Aircraft performance improved a lot and flights now getting longer on single aisle as on wide bodies. Sleep becomes essential to overcome easily jet lag and night flights. Laying instead of sitting improves a lot rest and passenger experience. LSEAT becomes a major comfort improvement.
LSEAT designed a kit enabling any Economy seat a “relax reading“ or a “sleep” mode maintaining seat, pitch and cabin certification integrity. State status modification is activated only by passenger body weight motion.
With seat sitting cushion sliding forwards and inclining downwards on its frontal part, passenger legs can slide down below the seat in front of him, instead of having his knees to hit the back of that seat in front all flight long. Back rest cushion moving accordingly offers passenger a comfortable inclined surface to sleep on.
Before applying patents, an analysis on 400 patents for aircraft and automotive seats, did not sowh any sitting cushion inclining down on its frontal side as it moves forwards.
LSEAT can apply any Economy or Premium Economy seat without changing pitch and seat. So doing, a regular Economy seat can become an upgraded one, earning a better sale price. In a full Economy low cost cabin, a “Premium low Cost” class can be created without modifying existing seat or cabin, not changing the pitch, and consequently not increasing the cost. With a small ticket price mark-up, concerning a large number of passengers involved, the investment pays back in less than 2 months.
LSEAT enables a high yearly revenue increase. A 50 $ price mark-up per ticket twice a day flights long haul, 330 days a year means a year revenue increase of 33.000 $ per LSEAT equipped seat. As to the equipment weight, 59 LSEAT kits equals to one passenger without luggage.
LSEAT spent three years, finding the way and the materials to install as a “minor change”, but installation with an STC is also available. It comes with a FORM 1 and needed engineering work.
Once an airline offers sleep mode in Economy class it has to deliver, disregarding the aircraft and seat type. All airlines can operate different aircraft with different seats. Higher pitch will allow more sleep mode inclination. LSEAT adapts to any Economy and Premium Economy seat on any type of aircraft..
