Kit content
Two thin plates are inserted between the seat frame and the seat cushion. The upper one slides forwards and downwards on its frontal part. Vertical cushion motion is synchronisedt.
Kit is supplied with engineering works FORM 1 as a "Minor Change" or with an STC modification. It is manufactured by a main interiors manufacturer for ASTON MARTIN, BENTLEY and ROLLS-ROYCE.
LSEAT kit weight is 1.550 grams and half an inch high in between cushion and seat structure.
Operating mode
A spring system maintains unoccupied seats sitting position to comply with 16G compliant mode. Those springs tighten going to sleep mode and assists the return to sitting mode.
In sleep mode, sitting cushion and back textile synchronized mode offer passenger body a lowered “chaise longue” flat surface with 40+ ° angle to sleep. Legs find room below the seat in front.
LSEAT retrofit kit adapts also to premium economy seats as well.
Technical issues
LSEAT is supplied with an STC and PART 21 J engineering work and a FORM 1. Production and compnents are in hands of PART 21G subcontracters .
Our retrofit kit is adaptable to most seat types for any aircraft. It inserts without seat or cabin modification, respecting strictly their certification integrity.
Installation time takes less than 15 minutes per seat and does not require A.O.G time.
