The size of the market, the high standard requirements of the customers and the high technical qualifications are needed to successfully deliver the Lseat. Therefore Lseat is relying on strong and motivated partners: Sonaca, Fokker and other European specialized manufacturers. All 3 are recognized suppliers for major actors such as Boeing, Airbus, Nasa, SpaceX.
SONACA, major factory and supplier of critical aircraft hardware for AIRBUS, BOEING, EMBRAER, DASSAULT and BOMBARDIER. SONACA is taking care of the final engineering and production management. SONACA was recently selected by EASA, together with SIEMENS to supply the future moon module to be launched by X-SPACE
The Dutch manufacturer of few thousands of airliners is now active in modifying, maintaining and rebuilding aircraft. FOKKER is a precious contributor to ensure Lseat customers the high level of product and service they deserve. FOKKER in their Dutch facilities will take care of the production of the Lseats. FOKKER will also use its long existing relationship with hundreds of airlines in the world that flew or are still flying their aircraft.
Should one airline with a fleet of 50 aircraft decide to install 24 Lseats in its economy class, this will result in an order of 1’200 seats and a sale of above $ 7 million. With a mark-up of $ 50 per passenger ticket, on 2 long-haul flights a day (with 330 operating days/year), the airline revenue increase will be around $ 40 million per year for that fleet. The airline investment pay back time is less than three months. While exiting the Covid 19 crisis, all airlines will be hunting for extra profits… Lseat offers them a great competitive advantage and new source of revenue. Our business case is very conservative, but considering the number of airlines and economy seats (around 1’200’000 eco seats in 2019), Lseat will quickly grow and become the new standard and the new normal for the airline industry
